In most circumstances, in order to drive a Large Goods Vehicles over 3.5 tonne, or Passenger Carrying Vehicle with more than 9 seats, you will need a Driver CPC qualification alongside the appropriate licence category in order to drive professionally in the UK.

To gain or renew an EU Driver CPC entitlement, drivers are required to attend 35 hours of approved training. This must be done in 5 x 7 hour “modules”. For Drivers who only require the new UK Driver CPC, the 35 hours can be completed in 10 x 3.5 hour “modules” if you choose. The qualification lasts for 5 years. All of our courses are currently still 7 hours long and cover both requirements.
