Driver CPC (JAUPT course ref; CRS17411/2386)
**INCLUDES RECENTLY UPDATED LOAD SECURITY GUIDANCE**
This Online Driver CPC Course is written by an experienced Driver and Transport Manager, and looks at both the Operator and Drivers responsibilities toward ensuring their vehicles are roadworthy. Drivers of larger vehicle can find themselves subject to roadside inspections by the DVSA or Police. This course aims to give Drivers a detailed explanation of how roadside checks, prohibitions and sanctions work, and what they can do to combat problems. Candidates will be informed of their obligations to conduct walk around checks of their vehicles and we will point out key defects to look out for along with any recent updates to the rules.
Many Drivers are still unaware that the guidance on how loads should be secured has recently been updated. The new guidance will be explained in the afternoon of the course, along with a basic outline of relevant vehicle weights and dimensions. An essential course for all Drivers as part of their periodic training. As always, delivered in a relaxed and informal manner by experienced industry professionals.
Training uploaded /registered with DVSA same day (subject to their IT issues)
The course revolves around raising awareness of key documents and guidance, including but not limited to ;
> DVSA Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness
> Enforcement Sanctions Policy
> Categorisation of Vehicle Defects
> Recently updated load securing guidance
The course is a live presentation from an experienced instructor and is delivered remotely on ZOOM. You only need very limited technical ability to be able to attend!
