Drivers Welfare Driver CPC (JAUPT Course ref; CRS15108/2386)
Professional driving is one of the few industries where you have to pass a medical and maintain a certain level of good health in order to continue to work legally. Most of our courses focus on the roadworthiness of the vehicle and compliance with regulations. In reality though, we know that drivers themselves cause far more accidents than defective vehicles! The most dangerous component of any vehicle is the nut behind the wheel. This course focuses on the roadworthiness of you as the Driver.
Drivers will gain an understanding of;
> Driver Medicals (when, where, reasons for failure or delays).
> Notifiable medical conditions.
> Eyesight requirements
> Legislation regarding drink & drugs
> Driver fatigue
> Contracts of employment and IR35
In the afternoon of the course we also work hard to raise awareness on the dangers of mobile phone use and other distractions. We hope that this has a real and lasting impact on the attendees and challenges their behaviours behind the wheel in the future.
Training uploaded /registered with DVSA same day (subject to their IT issues)
This Online Drivers Welfare Driver CPC Course is a live presentation from an experienced instructor and is delivered remotely on ZOOM. You only need very limited technical ability to be able to attend! Many Drivers that contact us are keen to point out that they’re not very good with computers! Don’t worry, if you’re reading this then you’ve got all the ability you need. It’s as simple as making a phone call and each course begins with a short tutorial on how Zoom works. Candidates will need a Tablet or laptop with a working camera (phones can be used if necessary but not recommended) and a stable internet connection.
You can check our accreditation on the JAUPT website here.
