In most circumstances, in order to drive a Large Goods Vehicles over 3.5 tonne, or Passenger Carrying Vehicle with more than 9 seats, you will need a Driver CPC qualification alongside the appropriate licence category in order to drive professionally in the UK.
To gain or renew CPC entitlement, drivers are required to attend 35 hours of approved training. This must be done in 5 x 7 hour “modules”. The qualification lasts for 5 years. You can now attend Driver CPC online, which is much more convenient and cheaper than classroom courses.
