Tachograph Training

Our remote Tachograph Training courses are designed for either drivers or managers who need to learn or update their knowledge of Digital Tachographs. These 2-3 hour interactive online courses provide candidates with the opportunity for one-on-one training with expert instructors, ensuring a personalised learning experience.

The feedback from course attendees has been exceptional for these courses, and they’ve helped make a real-world difference to operators looking to reduce mistakes and incorrect tachograph use causing infringements.

Our courses are delivered remotely via Zoom, with small groups of no more than 4 attendees. This ensures that each participant gets focused attention from a subject matter expert. During the sessions, the instructor shares on-screen simulators of the latest VDO and Stoneridge Tachographs, which closely replicate real-world devices. Participants can take control of the simulator, practicing and performing the procedures shown by the instructor.

Tachograph Training for Drivers

Our Drivers Tachograph Training course is perfect for new drivers, or those who may be receiving infringements due to improper use of digital tachographs.

The course provides a detailed explanation of all essential procedures that drivers must follow. The instructor demonstrates the tasks and then allows participants to practice and perform the actions themselves under expert guidance. Manual Entries, one of the key focus areas, are covered in-depth, with learners practicing entries for various scenarios.

The course can be tailored to suit the needs of the group, ensuring that everyone leaves with a strong understanding of how to use digital tachographs correctly.

Tachograph Training for Managers

Our Managers Tachograph Training course is ideal for anyone responsible for overseeing drivers who are working under EU Drivers’ Hours regulations but may be unfamiliar with digital tachographs.

This course covers the essential functions of the tachograph and focuses on downloading data and using analysis software. Participants will be shown how to use software tools to analyse drivers’ data, with step-by-step guidance provided throughout the course. We will also cover record-keeping and disciplinary procedures.

As with the driver course, the content can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the group.

Tachograph Course Benefits and Certification

Upon completion of either course, participants will gain confidence in their ability to operate digital tachographs correctly and efficiently. Additionally, candidates will receive a certificate of completion, which can serve as evidence of CPD and that Driver infringements are being dealt with.
